Brush Lettering & Ornament Lettering for Beginners at Plain Jane Designs

Join Sip and Script® for a Morning of Brush Lettering!

Join us at Plain Jane Designs in Athens, GA  for a workshop of pretty brush lettering! If you’ve always admired beautiful stationery, handwritten signage used at weddings or in home decor, or just love all hand-lettered crafts, this workshop will leave you feeling confident implementing this art form into your events or everyday life We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to all your holiday tables, Christmas trees, hostess gifts, gift tags, holiday card mailings and more!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s brush lettering kit (watercolor paper, tracing paper, our Brush Lettering Guides Bundle, a black Tombow Brush Marker, a round paintbrush, an inkpot pre-filled with gouache, and a pipette), and all materials to write on.  Everything is yours to keep at the end of the class. Additionally, we will be lettering on a take-home acrylic ornament at the end of our class time!

Come ready to shop around while the paint dries! Plain Jane Designs offers custom wedding, gifts, stationery, monogramming, and more. The store will be stocked with holiday gifts to get a jump start on your list. Light refreshments will be served as well. Class will start promptly at 10:00 AM! 

A note on bringing guests 16 and under: We love to share this passion with kids. We do ask that anyone under the age of 16 is to be accompanied by a ticketed adult at all times.
