Priya was born in India, and moved to the United States when she was twelve years old. After working as a social worker with survivors of domestic violence, she was headed to law school, until her husband gave her calligraphy supplies and a set of watercolor paints as a gift in 2017.  She’d never considered herself artsy in any way, but soon fell in love with the beauty of calligraphy and painting, and just knowing that she could actually create something beautiful and unique.   She now works with couples to create their very own custom watercolor invitations for their weddings.  Every invitation design starts off as a pencil sketch, every watercolor element gets painted by her and every script element gets calligraphed.   Priya also creates calligraphy and watercolor-filled wall art, greeting cards, notepads and other paper goods so she can bring beauty, hope and joy to the everyday.    Check out her Etsy shop here!
