We are constantly playing around to figure out what works best on the good old ‘gram! A few things to mention that we have noticed stand the test of time!
- VIDEOS. Hands down convert the most and get the most views! Whether it’s in your feed or posted to stories, this is the easiest way to showcase our favorite art form in a non sales-y way. Post videos as often as you can (utilize our shared video folder!) to demonstrate to your audience what they’ll be learning. They’ll remember your video long after seeing it, as opposed to just a graphic you post! Calligraphy is so visual, take advantage!!!
- Graphics are great, but again, any photo that shows your beautiful work is way more eye catching! Graphics are perfect to share with your venue partners, but also include some photos and video clips attached in your email so they can post those too!
- Think about the times of day you’re posting. We see the best results posting before 8:00 am EST, or after 6pm EST (ideally at night posting between 7-8pm). Think about when you scroll: after waking up, when you get to work sitting at your desk, or at nighttime when watching TV! That’s when you’ll the most eyes on your stuff! We also try to think about Monday-Friday content, verses Saturday/Sunday content. People are much more open to more sales-y posts during the week, verses when they’re relaxing or out with their friends. Weekend content can be more lifestyle posts verses weekday when we are more sales focused.
- In general, the days where we are all consistently posting see the best conversion results. We also try to encourage each other to comment and like on any squad postings whenever you see them!
- We believe in quality content over quantity! Don’t ever feel like you have to post something just to post! There’s so much out there on IG right now so you’re competing against a lot of noise. Feel free to use anything in our shared folder whenever you want to post but might not have time to create anything new.
