Uploading Events to Website

From here, go to Account → my events → add a listing.

**Required Fields**

  • Event Image: This will be the image that comes up on the Sip & Script calendar for the event. This will be the Instagram sized graphic 1080 x 1080 px. For the Facebook graphic, it should be 1920 x 1080px.
  • Event Categories & Tags: 
  • add “beginner calligraphy” or “brush lettering” you’ll be able to start typing in then pick from options.
  • Venue Details: Create or Find a Venue, this is where the venue name and contact information will go. If the venue is new, please create a new venue by Typing the Venue name in the Search Box and select create. A new form will drop down allowing you to put the contact information in for the venue.
  • Organizer Details: this is YOU. You are the organizer for the event, so please type your own name here, or select it from the drop-down list.
  • Event Website: please add the venue website URL

Additional Fields:

  • FB Image URL: Please leave this space blank!
  • Venue Fee: if the venue is adding anything to the ticket price, or if there is a room rental fee, please put that amount here. This is for our records when we process payroll. If we are to be submitting payment via mailing a check to the venue, this is where you’d note this.
  • Post Class Review: Free text box for any notes about your class after it takes place. Good place to keep track of attendance, or anything unusual like someone showing up day of to buy tickets. In that case, you can have them venmo the ticket amount to @sipandscript, write a check or pay cash. You could also pull up the website and have them check out in front of you. Make sure you confirm payment has been made prior to the start of class!!
  • State: State that your event is taking place. This is so that people can filter events by state on our general events page, so important to remember!

Adding the class tickets:

  • Click “New Ticket”
  • Type: Copy/paste the full name of your class (ie: Modern Calligraphy at ____)
  • Price: Insert your class price
  • Capacity: Click “Set capacity for this ticket only” and then type in the # of seats available
  • Click “Save ticket”

You can then select “submit event” and one of us will send you your link within 24 hours!

Join Sip & Script® for a Night of Learning Calligraphy!

Join us at [VENUE] in [CITY], [STATE] for a night of cocktails and pretty lettering! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor and more! The perfect crafty night out!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the night!

Our COVID-19 Precautions:

  • Seating arrangements will be spread out between parties
  • Instructors will be wearing a mask
  • All supplies are your own to use during class and take home after
  • Hand sanitizer will be offered
  • Masks worn by guests are strongly encouraged
  • If you feel sick the day of class, we will gladly transfer you into another event. Please stay home if you are symptomatic.
